Ms. Marvel, volume 4

I read the latest version of Ms. Marvel over the weekend. I absolutely love that entire series and was sad to see that based on the Comixology page, the series is over, or at least this incarnation of it. G. Willow Wilson has become one of my favorite comic writers and as I wrote when I first talked about Ms. Marvel, I love this comic.

The final volume includes two Amazing Spiderman crossover issues, which were equally good. But it was the final issues of the volume that really got me. Kamala is dealing with her first love going badly, the family dynamics are also quite beautiful, and she meets one of her heroes. It’s action packed, but also poignant at many times. Ms. Marvel is probably my favorite comic series ever (at least right now).
