Parking
In my neighborhood right now there is nothing that will set people off more than talking about parking. As the city approves more apartment buildings that don’t provide parking for all residents and seeks to increase density, the residents are growing increasingly frustrated. And what never ceases to amaze me is that it’s almost like these residents don’t realize that they live in Portland, Oregon; a city that prioritizes transit, bikes, and walking over cars. It’s one of the reasons we moved here ten years ago, and it’s one of the things we love about living here.
