Pants!

I’ve been learning how to sew over the past few months and at times it’s felt tedious and difficult. I’ve spent a lot of time practicing with my machine on scraps of fabric, stitching straight, how to make various seams, and finally I made some napkins to have made an actual usable thing. This week I finished my first pair of pants. They’re simple, an elastic waist band with side seam pockets. But I made a muslin to practice the pattern and ended up doing a lot of adjustments to customize the pattern to fit me. Guess what? THEY FIT!
