FO: Jaunty Shawl

15 June 2026

I started this shawl as my travel project when we went to London and I did work on it on the flights. The bulk of the knitting was done after I got home. I absolutely love half fisherman's rib, I think this is my fifth project in that stitch pattern and still love both knitting it and how squishy and wonderful the fabric is. A simple long skinny shawl of the type that are very popular in the knitting world right now. The yarn is leftover Patagonia by Juniper Moon in colorway Sand and Spincycle Dyed in the Wool in colorway Petrichor. The pattern is by Andrea Mowry. Stripes are so hard to photograph y'all, but I did want to document this one on my site.

On a wood table where the wood grain shows, a scarf is laid out and doubled up. The scarf is striped with a light, natural color and a yarn that changes from dark to orange to blue.
