Final 2024 makes

I finished both of these in 2024 but didn’t get a picture until today. I love both of these pieces and am so pleased with them. I spent a lot of time before making each doing some small things to make sure the fit would be good. The Stick Season sweater is a drop shoulder design, but has a bit of a sleeve cap at the beginning of the sleeves so you don’t have to have a lot of positive ease in order to get a good fit. It’s a great fitting sweater, so comfortable, and easy to wear with a lot of little nice design details. It’s the third time I’ve made the Morgan Jeans and I’ve fully perfected the fit of these, I love this pair so much. Modifications are for a gaping back, low seat, and I swapped in a zipper instead of the button fly. I used a 10 oz denim and that’s my preferred weight, still gives them some good structure, but not too thick for my machine. (Photo credit G.)

A woman stands in front of a doorway with a window to the left with a slight smile on her face. She has her left hand on her hop and is looking at the camera smiling. She's wearing a thick wool sweater with a texture on the top half in a neutral color and jeans in dark denim and dark boots. Her right arm rests at her side.
